Meet Archie
We’re excited to welcome Archie (“Archie”), our newest therapy dog in training at Aspire Counseling in Cherry Creek.

Archie is a 3-month-old mixed-breed puppy with a gentle, calm-natured temperament. He is currently training to become a certified animal-assisted therapy dog and is part of the daily rhythm of our Denver office.
You may see Archie around the office—quietly observing, resting nearby, or happily greeting clients as they come in. From the moment you walk through the door, he helps create a space that feels a little more relaxed, welcoming, and human.

He’s learning foundational skills like settling, observing, and engaging respectfully when invited. While he loves cuddles and is known for his adorable wiggle butt, he’s also doing a great job practicing boundaries—like keeping all four paws on the floor when greeting (even when he’s very excited to meet you).

Outside the office, Archie is all puppy. He loves playing fetch, proudly carrying sticks that are often as big as he is, and—somewhat mysteriously—collecting and gifting rocks to his humans.

While Archie may be present in the office and occasionally stop by to say hello, his involvement in therapy sessions is always intentional and based on client preference. Some clients enjoy having him as part of their session, while others prefer a dog-free space—both are always respected.

Archie’s role is to gently enhance the therapeutic process by offering a calm, grounding presence as he continues to grow into his role.
